Patsy Cline's home is on East Patrick Street in Frederick, Maryland. After marrying Gerald Cline on March 7, 1953, twenty year old Virginia Patterson Hensley would officially become known as Patsy Cline. The young couple moved into the second floor apartment in this house, near his family home. During this time Patsy worked on radio and at live events around the area. She also recorded for Four Star, a subsidiary of Decca, between 1955 and 1957, with little popular success. In 1955 she debuted on TV with the Grand Ole Opry and Ozark Jubilee. While she was interested in pursuing her music careere, Gerald was more interested in her becoming a housewife. This division eventually led to the downfall of their marriage. They would divorce in 1957 and she would go on to marry Charlie Dick later that same year.
