The Henry B. Tompkins House is located on Wesley Road in Atlanta, Georgia.It was designed by Atlanta architect Neel Reid, of the firm Heintz, Reed and Adler, and constructed between 1922 and 1924.Reid was a master of residential architecture for the wealthy and the Tompkins House is one of the best surviving villas he produced.The house sits in the Peachtree Heights West neighborhood, which is home to several historic properties.It is architecturally significant as an almost completely unaltered example of Reed’s work.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
